about me

How did I get where I am today?

On Sunday evenings when I was a little boy, my mom would do her craft work in the kitchen. She would hot-glue dried and dead flowers to other dried and dead flowers, sometimes using different colored lace in the process.

Every so often she would call me into the kitchen and ask for my opinion on certain pieces. I would quickly say, “It looks good Mom!” just so I could run back to the living room as fast as I can, trying to miss as little of MacGyver as possible.

Those “craft” pieces that she made me critique every Sunday were just enough to spark my creative outlet. And because of that, I am where I am today.
Thanks Mom!

Every spring and summer on Saturday mornings at 9am, my dad would start the lawn mower and begin cutting the grass. I would hear this and suddenly wake up, throw my yard clothes on and head outside. He would yell over the sound of the engine to me to mow a certain pattern that week, so the grass tips get a fresh cut on their blades. I tried my hardest to beat my record time from the previous week, which was usually 45 minutes.

My dad taught me to put 100% into whatever job I started, to be very punctual, and to drive like everyone else on the road is out to kill you. And because of his effort to teach me professionalism and hardwork, I am where I am today.
Thanks Dad!

Thanks to the rest of my family and friends who supported, helped, and kicked my ass while I was in school... My ass still hurts, but at least I know it was all out of love.
Thanks Everyone!
