About Project M
Founded by John Bielenberg, Project M is an intensive 2 to 4 week long program designed to inspire young graphic designers, writers, photographers and other creative people that their work can have a positive and significant impact on the world. Visit www.projectmlab.com for more information.
Thinking Wrong
The human brain tends to think along pre-determined linear thought pathways. Such linear thinking can inhibit true innovation and creative exploration. Project M will encourage, and provide techniques for, “thinking wrong” to generate new ideas and design directions to challenge the status-quo.
Recent Project M sessions
2008
"We decided to focus our energy on creating a permanent Project M Lab in Greensboro, AL and open it up for other groups to use during the year. www.projectmlab.com"
Spring 2009
"Pie brings people together, conversation happens, ideas are created, and the result is change through creativity in design. All of this is structured around a place, a place called PieLab."
Project M South 2009
Myself and nine other young and creative individuals were chosen to head down to Greensboro, AL for the month of June to come up with a project that would potentially foster positive change for the residents in Hale County and elsewhere. While down in Greensboro, we produced two projects, (blank)LAB & Ashholes.org.
