CREATIVE FACILITATION
Facilitating experiences, conversations, and events that move ideas off of Post-Its and into a climate positive world
I collaborate with: startups, nonprofits, foundations, universities, coalitions, design studios, creative agencies, in-house design teams, and conference organizers, and others.
Together, we can work on things like: mission & vision development, brand positioning, messaging, idea generation, journey mapping, campaign development, and team alignment, and more.
How we work together
1. DISCOVERY
Understand the challenge, who's involved, what constraints exist, what success actually looks like
2. WORKSHOP DESIGN
Create a custom session that targets specific needs based on who’s in the room and where we want to land at the end
3. FACILITATION
Generate volume, break assumptions, prototype, pressure-test ideas, all to get buy-in from decision makers
4. OUTCOMES
Walk away with solid concepts, strategic clarity, prioritized roadmap, and an aligned team ready to move

Your climate solution works, but nobody understands it, and nobody cares. Let’s build a brand strategy that makes your work impossible to ignore.

You'll leave with the building blocks of a brand that resonates with investors, customers, and partners.

Learn more about my 3-month Advising package
Climate companies need design partners who understand spaces like carbon markets, regenerative systems, behavior change, and policy. Most studios don't know this stuff. Let’s get you caught up.
We’ll create a path to get you climate-ready. We'll audit your capabilities, identify gaps, develop new service offerings, and build your go-to-market strategy for attracting climate clients.
You'll leave with a roadmap, positioning strategy, and the confidence to enter the climate space.
GET UNSTUCK
Breaking Through Roadblocks
Two Days
WHO’S IT FOR
+ Teams stuck because of complex decisions
+ Organizations facing inflection points
+ Groups with competing priorities
Your team is smart, but you're spinning. Stuck on a decision, paralyzed by complexity, or fighting over priorities that all feel urgent. Get moving now, so you can get back to making impact.
We'll reframe the problem, challenge your assumptions, and generate solutions you couldn't see before.
You'll leave with clarity, alignment, and a concrete plan to move forward.
BUILDING YOUR MOVEMENT
Collective Action
Three Days
WHO’S IT FOR
+ Climate initiatives building community momentum
+ Campaigns focused on behavior change at scale
Shifting behavior at scale is hard. Getting millions to adopt new behaviors, support the better option, or demand policy change takes more than wishful thinking. You need more than a good looking website, you need a movement.
We'll build the narrative, community strategy, and activation plan that turns your climate solution into a cultural force.
You'll learn movement theory, design interventions with your audience, and create strategies to go from early adopters to widespread adoption.

Marc is your guy if you need to change the game and come out swinging. He isn't a designer that gives you ideas, he's a change maker who can supercharge your impact.
+ Tito Jankowski, Co-founder of AirMiners
Marc was collaborative, creative, professional, and always looked for ways to generate the best outcome. He understands the innovation process at a deep level, and how best to unlock the creativity of groups.

Experience Matters
Climate Expertise
Most facilitators help you think better. I help you think better about climate.
Since 2016, I’ve built a foundation of knowledge in the science, language, solutions, and approaches needed to address our climate emergency.
A Punk Rock Ethos
A DIY ethos means building solutions with what you've got, not what you wish you had.
I question orthodoxies, challenge the status-quo, and push teams past safe ideas.
Over 100 Workshops
I've produced and facilitated social impact workshops for conferences, with universities, and Project M.
I know what works, what doesn't, and how to read a room when energy shifts.
Every exercise implemented serves a strategic purpose
If an exercise doesn't move you toward a breakthrough, it's not on the agenda.
With “just enough” structure, I combine various proven and custom frameworks to deliver unique workshops tailored to each project, like Thinking Wrong and Prototype Thinking.
THINKING WRONG
Break conventional thinking patterns, eliminate biases, generate volume, conceive the inconceivable.
PROTOTYPE THINKING
Make ideas tangible fast. Low-fidelity prototypes reveal what works. Expose flaws early and create alignment through making instead of talking.
